There are three different type of weaves: Synthetic, Human and Remy.
Synthetic hair is a great choice if you’re looking for a new look to last you a short time. Human hair on the other hand has an elevated natural appearance to it in comparison to synthetic hair. Human hair is great because it replicates natural hair almost perfectly and can last you a few months (approx 6-8 months) with multiple installs, depending on how well you care for it. Finally, Remy Hair is nothing less than amazing! Sharing similar qualities to that of human hair, Remy hair is versatile and natural and undergoes minimal processing. If cared for properly Remy hair will maintain its natural movement and appearance from 6 months to over a year.

Different type of Sew In Weaves

There are also two different types of sew in weaves. we have partial sew in and full sew in. the name may be a little misleading as partial does not mean you only do the sew in on one part of the hair. The partiality refers to the fact that the stylist will not put all of the hair in track.  Instead, the stylist will use some of the customer own hair to cover the tracks. this allows the sew in to look more natural. on the other hand, during a full sew in, the stylist won't leave any of the customer hair out. This is particularly helpful if you have alopecia or you are trying to avoid any hair breakage.
A well done full sew in is a good protective style. During the maintenance period, the customer won't have to flat iron the hair to match the weaves. Also it doesn't tug on the edges of the hair.  that said a bad full sew in doesn't look natural; often of not it look like a wig.
